I believe we need our viability back. Remove wall climbing from non stealth classes. Giving all melee that ability is just ridiculous. It was for stealther's and should remain that way.
I've a hunter on mid, roled rangers on hibs, as well as assassins of different flavors. The "viability" of stealthers is still the same. They can serve as intel for groups or BG's, or as an ambusher from invisibility alone, or as a group of stealthers. This hasn't changed since launch. What HAS changed is the ability of the stealther to succeed in their ambush vs. a variety of different targets, and imo, they're pretty close to where they need to be at the present.
You see more classes climbing walls as a bad thing, but as an assassin you can use the heavy and light tanks as bait to set up your attacks from stealth. That's a good thing. I don't agree that having more chars climb walls is detrimental to stealthers.

This I would agree with completely, at least for the level 50 frontiers. I've run everything from BG's, KoTH, to solo daily tasks and xp mobs in the frontiers on mostly vis toons and never felt the stealthers were so much of a menace that their stealth needed to be nerfed. Never heard my peers complain about the stealthers either. IMO, that area stealth nerf should be removed.

Think of the game as a whole, not just your realm. Speed six is always more valuable than just hastener speed.

I would like to see stealthers able to benefit more from scouting and providing early warning at a keep. Maybe something like allowing BG or group leaders to designate recon spots, or early warning spots that the stealther could occupy in stealth and be rewarded for after a keep or tower is taken.

Is it though? Depends on who you talk to, in that some people think a stealther should be able to kill absolutely everything in the game, including heavy and light tanks. IMO, stealthers should absolutely destroy cloth casters and support classes, but get absolutely wrecked by the heavy, light tanks, and hybrids. That's not the way the game has always been, nor will it always be, though.
Regardless, imo, the over all strength of stealthers is fine, but they could sure use something to make it easier to choose to be an aid to groups and BG's as opposed to just being lone wolf solo players.
