New player here, hoping to make a youtube video and maybe even a 100 hour challenge. (At minimum)

However, when I try to load the game it gives me a message saying that I can hit esc to exit the game, and the game does not load.

I got the same issue as well, first time after 2 month of playing this game: this morning I logged in and played for a couple of hours without issues, but this afternoon my Eden launcher run a slight update for a few seconds, and after that game client gets stuck at 95% loading bar, probably because it doesn't connect to Eden server anymore for unknown reasons.

I don't know what devs did as an update/fix today, but I'm 90% certain this issue is caused by that.

Please help us , otherwise me (and other players with the same issue) cannot play on Eden anymore...

I cant play, either. It is the same issue, plus the launcher is not starting, when I click it. I can bypass that, because i can reinstall it every time (thats the only way to launch it right now) and than try the log in, but still: Hit esc to close the game.

But when I DO hit escape, it automatically closes the launcher now, so I need to reinstall again. It is... not great.

Hello, pareil, j'ai réinstallé daoc puis le lanceur (en suivant les consignes du discord) et toujours le même problème, surement lié à la mise à jour. Si quelqu'un a une solution ?

Same here, came back after a break, installed game again and launcher, starting game ..... press escape to close game.
Set files to exeptions, gave permissions for the firewall, re-installed e few times, deleted the files in local folder .... nothing works.
Pinged the server and had max 33ping, so must be something with the launcher?

Today I did an experiment: luckly I got a mini-pc that I don't use often, and I tried to install Daoc and Eden launcher there.
It works, and I logged in with my characters withous issues, so I'm assuming something wrong happened on my main pc that made the game client unable to connet to Eden server, but only from that pc.

This time I'll try a complete removal of everything related to daoc and eden from this pc using a freeware that scans and deletes every file or registry key related to daoc, then I'll try again to reinstall both clients.

Update: this morning I've tried everything to fix this issue, but nothing worked... so I'll give up for the time bing to play daoc eden on my main pc, and keep playing it on my mini-pc, which it doesn't make any sense to me why the game properly works only from there...

Same here, not able to log in since patch. Hit esc to close the game. No idea why, so I enjoy live without DAoC again
