Season 3 is less fun in every way than Season 2

My friends and I are enjoying the S3 systems much less than the S2 ones. I don't want to be negative but it feels like the player experience on Eden is worse across the board and I feel much of this sentiment echoed from other players in game. It's disappointing because we were all excited to play S3 but now I can't say there's much excitement to log in and many want to play another game.

The new systems/quests greatly reduce the ability to find fun smallscale pvp action that was previously present. The plat dailies encourage lazy 8+man pickup groups to cruise around NF(gobbling up any smaller groups for RP). Groups of 4+ get ported right on top of duos and trios from Charon, feeding them RP. If your shitty trio manages to beat that 4 or 5man group, they will port back instantly from their town with Charon too, it only benefits the large group.

Sadly I don't see any change coming as most of these new playstyles are emergent from the core mechanics introduced for the frontiers in s3. Bringing back KotH would give me and my friends something to do, but if I'm being honest I don't think we'd log in this game anymore just to do KotH if our only other options are zerging.

Just my opinion and feedback, thank you for all the work on the server and I hope everyone else is enjoying S3 much more than me and my friends!

I will most likely be the only one who will reply here and I disagree.

Timed missions are great, I would love to see a bit more granular static/deserter spawns though. Not only 2 categories but 4 or sth like that.

They already said they are working on a better version of KOTH, they also permanenty improve all the systems.
You obviously can't know that if you don't use the Eden Discord....

If you want a constructive discussion, with as many participants and views as possible, you post in the Feedback section on Eden Discord. A huge part of the playerbase is active there, the devs are very active there.

If you simply want to write something to feel better, without the likelyhood that anyone else will read or even discuss it, post it here.
Only a really small fraction of the community does even remotely use the forum anymore. Its basically dead.

As a reference, this post is 1 month old. Only 2 people commented on it and only one of those 2 actually provided any kind of feedback related to the original post. This same feedback posted on Eden Discord would have created a lively discussion within minutes and hundres of comments, probably even a direct reply by the devs within a day.

At this point, the forum is mostly used for bug reports. Beside that most of those people who post their view here simply want to create their own echo chamber.
