Why does Eden launcher need Admin-Rights?

Why does Eden launcher need Admin-Rights?

I am surprised why the Launcher needs Admin-Rights to start the game.
I can't see a technical requirement, so an explanation would help me a lot ;)

usually admin rights are needed to write in programs folder, the Eden patches
