BD Commander Taunt

Maybe it's a duplicate thread, but since I've not seen any improvement from Alpha to Beta here I am...

The taunt does not work: it's too easy to get aggro from mobs even after the Commander, set to taunt, has already hit the mob several times: 2 dots and a single heal to the pet will cause the Mob to switch aggro from the Commander to the BD.
And when the Mob switches aggro from the Commander to the BD it will almost never switch back again, even if the commander still hits it, the mob must die before it can kill the BD.
All of this with a Bone Army spec, so the Commander is buffed and has a damage add on the hits.
With a Darkness spec it's even worse, because the mob will switch aggro to the caster subpets and kill them in 3/4 hits.

Obviously I'm talking about Red or High Orange mob, low oranges or yellows don't stay alive long enough to switch aggro (or die soon after switching it).

Please fix it, it is already quite annoying having the healer pets stop healing you (and the Commander) with 75% life (Why?? Is there in the world any reason why those pets should not fully heal you or the commander???). I haven't reached lvl 50 yet so I cannot try some serious solo farming, but, for what I have seen during exp about this ridicolous taunt, it will be a pain in the arse trying to farm alone any high lvl mob.

UP

Anyone else with BDs has noticed the same issue with Commander's taunt option?

Thanks

Re: BD Commander Taunt

Currently lvl 44 BD.

Have had no issues with any spec with the pet taunt working, you need to let the pet do some damage before you go crazy double dotting mobs. I've died once due to dots critting and commander not being able to pull aggro back.

The reason the pets stop healing at 75% is because otherwise they will just chain heal and be out of range to actually do anything it gives them a buffer to reset and get closer. I know it stinks if you're just standing there xping but in rvr it makes perfect sense. (Not that anyone runs them out there).

The resist rate on the Caster pets gets ridiculous when you're getting closer to the next level pet. that has caused a few issues.

Just tested this now and it seems the comment from Poisonclovers above is correct. The taunt isnt meant to be a 100% instant pet aggro guaranteed mechanic. You have to let the pet generate aggro.
