fully temped tanks and necro pets getting killed in 3 hits. what kinda broken BS is this? how or why is this a good change..... absolutely fking lame

Most of the assassins out right now are high realm rank with full temps and max buffs, so yeah, they’re going to delete stuff fast. I play an R4 shadowblade, and even if I land a Perforate Artery, a warrior just pops an instant heal and shrugs it off. It’s not that things are broken, it’s just that you’re running into fully optimized players who hit like trucks and have all their tools ready. With that said, I think being able to double PA with shadow dance is pretty overpowered.

Survive the PA and you're fine they're really front loaded now. Most tanks will have 3000-3500ish hp. A Pa does between 600-900 depending on crit. Sins don't have IP so any tank running ip3+ will invariably win. I don't struggle with sins at all. For casters though Sins are lethal. But then again survive the perf, quick mezz/stun etc and if the Sin doesn't have purge up its in trouble. PA/BS dmg could do with some fine tuning. The improvements are good before the Sin was a waste of time. A little dialling back is all that's required not much.

They need to fix stealth by putting it on a cooldown also a fixed duration and can only travel a fixed distance while in stealth. This perma stealth anytime you want is OP already and with all the changes its just unbalanced.

I thought that's what the intent was, and why every stealther was pretty much hot garbage on the server unless they zerged the same target.

That is most casters, not just Necro's, but if your low RR and the one attacking is high RR that will be the reason why. Also, in this game cc is king. There's almost always a way for every class to do some form of cc and heal up. You just need to time it right. And if your trying to RVR/PVP without purge your doing it all wrong.

Their dmg is fine, my problem is with the double PA ..i mean enough he might crit on a crit hit like PA ..but he can do it twice:)

The problem isn't only "surviving the PA" (fully templated paladin with an AF >950 gets perfed for 1050 without crit is silly) - the problem is that when you do start to fight assassins they can always use a 15 min 5 point RA to get out of harms way.Gildara wrote: Thu Oct 09, 2025 11:53 pm Survive the PA and you're fine they're really front loaded now. So you end up in a situation where if you do think a tank vs assassin fight should happen, the tank spends purge and IP3 to get countered by vanish - ending up without realmpoints.
I've played various assassins and archers on live and on Phoenix - the current iteration off assassins on Eden is silly. You can doubleperf for "cap" damage on plate-armour, you can teleport, can apply poisons in combat without swapping weapons. I imagine it completely mitigates archers or any viable solo-play for visibles who are now getting rolled by small-men, groups, zergs AND assassins.

I hate vanish
my warrior on live has over 2k solo kills.. half of them have to be assassins
I've always found killing them before they can vanish helps.. most sins as stupid.. they purge early in the fight. Any tank should be able to doe 50-70% of a sins health in the in space of a 9 second slam. As anyone with a shield on Eden has a 9 second slam. Then the same applies for just about everyone.
The current Eden assassin needs refining but they are still inferior to sins on live. It's a case of adapting to them.
