Durability/Condition of items

Is Durability and Condition of items a thing on this server, or has it been disabled?

One of my most disliked things about the original DAoC was that no matter what item you get, it's going to break eventually, and as it degraded, it got worse stats. This was an absolutely terrible feeling.

I once hosted a private server for me and a couple of friends, and we turned off any degradation to item durability.

What's the deal on this server?

Also on a side note, why so few forums? I don't want to post under RVR or a specific faction. It's not a support question or feedback (although I guess in a sense this is feedback, but it does contain a question). Some topics have nowhere to go. Some sort of a general channel would probably be a good thing.

Durability is not something you have to worry about here. Condition is though, so hit the smith regularly.

Also on a side note, why so few forums?
