Why didn't they just make quests outside of the BG to make them equal to the BG quests XP instead of ruining BGs for casual players ? So that way nobody can cry about being killed in the BG I mean it is a battleground the point of it is to kill people Temped or not is irrelevant and I keep hearing people just wanting to quest thru quickly and not be killed THEN IT WAS KINDA POINTLESS PUTTING QUEST TO LEVEL IN A BATTLEGROUND I mean ( who's great idea was this lmao ) I've played DAOC for over 20 years and never seen stuff like this it's crazy imo I think Eden will lose players over this...

yeah im up on that, Battle Ground... the name says everything....
so there must be a player cap on every battleground like 100 players of each realm? so when is full u can get into a queque, and you are able to have a lvl XX character fully temped there with xp and rp locked.
all great exp must be done in RvR and lower exp in PvE zones, use PvE zones just for get items
that way all exp is only be done on RvR zones like Battlegrounds and RvR

there is nothing more distrubing than a fg of tryhards ruining everyones first pvp-experience by dominating specific battlegrounds.

I mean, I get, that one would need a concrete feeling of being stronker, having a I-win-button or just the highest level and weaponskill in a closed area - i really do. having a grp of players with relative high rr camping (realmranks achievable are still quite high compared to how many rps a dead body in each BG drops) does smth to a BGs balance, which is why I think, it was a smart and righteous thing to do

For a real classic and slow rvr there just startet a beta.

ATM the server seems split between keeping true to DAOC before and trying to amend some of the grievances people had with it before.

If the server is aimed with lvl 50 in mind, then why are damn near full templates allowed in leir and cathal as lvl limits were not addressed much. This creates a real bad time for toons going through with bare min gear in the bgs. (I.E.. first toons, new players, low plat, etc.) who are just trying to power through to properly temp at 50 as the server claims to aim towards.

But this would also not be great to the long time of players that BG templated. Like on phoenix, Molvik was hopping, even tower taking was common with rams, Not uncommon for a single realm to hold all towers and keep.
So lvl limits are lax and anyone with enough research can run a near full temp at any battleground like back then and like you are suggesting here.

The server needs to ACTUALLY decide if they want to focus on all RvR or post 50 RvR instead of riding the line. Because their efforts to encourage getting to 50 and not creating a near-forever toon in BGs has been lackluster.
Im back from a crew where just getting to 50 was a big thing and a goal instead of intentionally lowriding as best I could to scalp RPs off the weakest possible.

Most people skip atleast the last bg(s) and the time is very limited for those great equipped toons after the changes. So i dont see a your "problem" really here. You have also several options to exp and exping is very fast.

I have a simple idea. Turn xp gain off and rp gain is turned off as well.
