It is RIDICULOUS that this game is still playable and fun - thanks Eden! I expect I am one of many who played this game at launch and decided to check it out again. Can't believe it still holds up.
Quick thoughts on how things have changed.
- Leveling is about 100 times faster. Used to be a real GRIND.
- So many quests!
- Live Maps!
- Free Buffs now, we used to all have our own buffbots to survive
- I remember when they added horses. We thought it couldn't ever get better - had no idea about instant travel. We literally had to run everywhere at first and it took forever.
- RvR feels very familiar overall.
- I expect graphics have been updated, but still seems very familiar
- Money and magic items are bountiful now. At launch some mobs didn't have drops mapped to them.
- Battlegrounds! cool.
- So many places added!
- I still mostly suck
