New Season New PC New Issue

Hey everyone,

Got a new PC and installed Eden and DAoC like normal..

Logged in set all my UI and my settings just like normal..

One thing I am struggling with.. In my Options I have have my client set to sleep NEVER... I run two monitors so having my client not go to sleep when swapping between them is HIGHLY necessary..

However even tho the setting is set to Sleep Never I still have to hard hit the /clientsleep never in game on every toon everytime i log in..

Ive never had this issue before.. Like ever... Soo.. anyone got a fix?

Your user.dat is read, save, write protected I assume. Change it and it will save.

Or edit it manually with editor and save it after.

It has changed suddenly for MANY people just recently. What gives?

Gotta as Windows/Microsoft on that, they set default folder permissions

I had to delete my user.dat file and let the game remake it. Keep old one as backup just in case anything goes wrong.

I guess I'm dumb. I can not seem to locate the file called user.dat

Any where in the DAoC folder.. is this in the Eden Launcher folder?

It's in neither of those two

Open the launcher, click "Character Settings", click "OPEN EDEN CHARACTERS SETTINGS", close the launcher

or type %appdata% into windows search to get there manually
