Eden Warlock info that hopefully helps starting out.
1. Spec lines
2. Spell types
3. Primers
4. Chambers
1. Spec lines: Cursing, Hexing, Witch craft
Cursing - There is a basic curse line you get from leveling, and there is a spec curse line. The spec curse line is your heavy DPS line and has: Bolt, 2 DD's, PbAOE, nearsight.
Hexing: This line has the only crowd control available to a Warlock in the form of casted bolt range root on a 20 sec timer, an unbreakable snare, a matter debuff, a casted lifetap, and a DoT.
Witchcraft: This is a heal line for the Warlock. Standard casted heal, a bolt range heal on a timer, a spread heal, and a power buff.
2. Spell types: Primary and Secondary
Primary spells - These are like any normal casted spells. Place them on your quick bar and use them like any normal spell.
Secondary spells - These spells can only be used with either a primer, which will make it cast similar to a normal spell, or a chamber, which will be cast instantly along with the primary spell it was loaded with in the chamber.
3. Primers: Powerless, Uninteruptable, Range
Powerless primer - This primer allows you to cast a secondary spell without using power.
Uninteruptable primer - This spell allows you to cast a secondary spell without getting rupted, but like MoC, the spell suffers a penalty based on the spec level of the spell primer, the lower the level, the larger the penalty.
Range primer - This increases the range of secondary spells based on the the level of the primer. Higher the level, futher the range.
How to use: Place the primer on your tool bar. Click the primer and immediately click the secondary spell you want to use and it will cast.
Example 1: NS is a secondary spell. I want to get some extra range so I'll hit the Range primer and immediately hit NS and the NS spell will cast with additional range.
Example 2: PbAOE is a secondary spell. I want to cast it without getting rupted so I hit the uninteruptable primer than immediately hit the PbAOE button and it will cast without getting rupted.
I recommend using recorder to create some common casting scenarios so you don't have to mash 2 buttons. (uninterupt with PbaOE, Range with NS, Powerless with spreadheal etc)
4. Chambers: Each spec line offers two possible chambers that can be used to load a primary and secondary spell. The chambers are available at 17 and 37 into a spec line. You may use any chamber you are specced for, so if you are specced 37 in a line, you may use both the 17 and 37 chamber. A maximum of 4 chambers can be used. Once loaded, the chamber can be fired instantly as long as you are standing still. There is a 8 second delay between chamber use.
How to fill a chamber: Place the chamber you want to use on your bar and click it. An animation will begin and you must then click a primary and secondary spell, in that order, before the end of the animation, and your spells will then be loaded into the chamber.
How to use a chamber: Once the chamber is loaded, simply click on the chamber button on your qbar / qbind and the chamber will then fire.
Example: I want to fill a chamber with a primary lifetap spell, and a secondary snare spell. I place any available chamber on my qbar and hit it. While the animation is running I immediately hit the primary (lifetap) and then the secondary spell (snare). The chamber will then be filled and rotating above your head. To use it simply click on a target and hit the chamber button and the target will instantly get hit with a lifetap and then be snared. You can come up with a variety of combo's that will provide dps and utility.
The warlock seems to be a good option on the DPS train, or as a healer, but I'm sure we'll see changes before launch, and well into the season. Hopefully this helps you figure it out for yourself.
Good luck.
