Leather pattern - Crown of Zahur

I've killed Zahur 10 times now and he has never dropped a leather pattern for the crown. All I get is plate, cloth, and studded patterns. Why is this so hard to get the leather pattern? This is crazy and very time consuming since you have to wait 1 hour to kill him again. Is this some sort of bug or is it working as intended? Forming groups to do this takes a lot of time and effort and I almost have had enough of it. In my opinion, everyone in the group should get one according to their class but that is just my opinion.
