Warlock Hex Line under performing

Hi all, want to give feedback/suggestion for Warlock specfically the Hex line which I sought to try out a character for and so far grossly disappointed. A hexlok I believe is how this class should be played cursing and hexing the battlefield is something Warlock should by definition excel at, but unfortunately this is not the case and most Warlocks end up as healer and occassionaly bomber.
If I am Hexlok I fill a dps roll, however the current state of this spec line is very poor, slow casting primary with back up dot Im lucky to even get one spell cast before most targets die. Dot ticks can do good dmg if a very rare 50+ crit hits and has nice duration usually is cured or target dies from other people hitting it and you will get very small rps tick from your 1-2 dot ticks.
Yes we have a 189 - 2.8sec dd I feel this does help abit but IS NOT how this class is supposed to be played by original design dex is supposed to be our 3rd in stat. I should not be forced to spec dex and use a boring regular nuke or else why wouldn't i just play an RM which is much better at everything than this?
Devs should bring back the matter debuff. I would also suggest to make a new spell that would absorb the DoT to cause a massvie explosion based on the remaining ticks left. Another idea would be a spreading dot that jumps to nearby targets every tick which would be super fun and fit the hexlok role nicely.
Devs pls revisit Warlocks Hex line and make it viable. Thanks
