Why care about loyalty when I can't play the game?

I'm a casual player, recently returned for season 3.
I generally don't play the "required classes." (Cleric, Shaman, Druid, Minstrel, Skald, Bard, Paladin)
I don't care what realm I play for really. I just would like to play.
When I log in I'll join a BG and run around with it, lfg every 3-4 minutes for about 15-20 minutes. Then, having failed to get one, wish everyone well and log off.
I'll then try a different realm and repeat until I can find a group. Some times I do get a group on the first realm. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries. Sometimes I log off and try again in a couple hours. Sometimes I don't get any at all at which point I just log off (more than a little disappointed) and find something else to do with my time.
Imagine (and I'm going to put in a massive effort to be polite here) my absolute stun when I logged in yesterday, got to my second realm and got a message saying "No realm points for you for 8 more hours."
Which loosely translates to "You're not loyal. Don't play our game."
I'd rather stick with this game, but if there's no fun to be had...
