RM Dark spec is lacking in this current state, when compared to its counterparts on other realms. I believe adding a single target disease somewhere in the spec line for Darkness would be a great utility addition to the class and spec, and put them more in line with other casters. Both Albion and Hibernia have multiple classes with disease, where Midgard's only source is a Shaman. (Dark BD pet's too if you want to count that I guess, but its not a viable source imho.)

If you were to implement adding a disease spell to the darkness spec, i would recommend placing it somewhere high in the spec line, level 30 or even 40+, for balancing purposes, this spell should be an option only for those that choose to spec high into the darkness line.



Bonus change: remove the DD with debuff spell, bake the debuff into the specline DD like the Wizard's fire spec line DD. Leave the current value of 10%.

The debuff should definitely be moved into the nuke, even keeping at 10% so that it is not quite as powerful as the Wizard's one. Disease is also a good idea but there should be some exploration of possibly making some changes that make the class a bit more unique, if it is possible from the Dev's side.

One idea could be to make it more large battle(zerg) friendly, either increasing the AOE size on the spec aoe or eliminating the falloff, encouraging people to spec enough dark to lose PBT.

As a long time dark enthusiast forced who remembers when Dark used to have the highest delve in the game but forced into RC/Supp - I would love to see a touch more utility into the line as well. I see a few options:

AOE Root or Disease: Ice Wiz got Disease and it helped tremendously with their utility. The 199+20% debuff is about the same as Dark RM 219+10%, without splitting between two spells.

AOE DD to <47: RMs are bolstered by the utility in Supp line, but with the last DD being at 50, you need to give it up to go 47/26. Moreover, Dark RMs AOE is the weakest in the game. The 144+10% at 50 spec does less than Ice Wiz's 142+15% at 46 or Fire Wiz/Void Eld/Light Ment 158 at 44 or Light Chanter 141+15% at 50.

Demez: In order to debuff for a Dark RM, you need another RM. Having 3 demez's is pretty much mandatory and giving up 2 caster slots without getting a demez or pet is tough. Mid also doesn't have any pulse pets so can't demez that way either unlike Hib & Alb
