Eden-DAoC

Is there a Hardcore option? When you die your character goes to level 1 and/or gets deleted?

Idk if it would work on Eden, but this would be kind of cool. You would probably have to level in the pve zones though, leveling in the BGs like that would be something else lol. Unless pvp deaths didn't count i guess.

I know Project Quarm put this in even as a mmorpg, but it is a pure pve server.

World of Warcraft has it too.

We looked into something like a hardcore mode, but heavy modifications are needed to make it fun or even mean something.
Like making the PvE harder (lower XP gain, more absorb, more damage, extra abilities, changed camps, etc), system changes like no more PLing (reduced XP gain the bigger the level difference in the group), and so on
