RR5 Necro: Call of Darkness is not working

I've noticed several times now that I was being ruptured or stunted despite RR5.
It's also not uncommon that even though I have summoned the pet (rr5), I get damaged as Shade and die in the process (Bolts, Casts, something with little delay). This doesn't usually happen when you summon the pet normally.

rr5 does nothing except reducing the cast time.
stun + mezz still work.
