Lost several hours (again) of progress.

Sure, it's a free game and a labour of love, but if it's not stable and there's a 2nd rollback in the span of 3 days, there's a deeper problem that needs addressing.

The lack of any staff member saying anything about this is both frustrating and telling.

How many more times can we expect this happen?

It's certainly the elephant rolling around the room lately...

Most of us are rather middle aged people with at least a rudimentary level skill in technology. A lot of us know tech pretty well and would feel better knowing it's something like a corrupt Database or something. "Hey yeah the data base got corrupted twice" is better than "__________" because at least we then know that you know what's wrong, and are doing more than restoring back to a previous snapshot and waiting for it to fail again.

The server sort of has rollback PTSD now every time we see a restart announcement, even if there's no accompanying ERROR SAVING - RESTART REQUIRED message.

Little dramatic but I agree with you. It's bad if you were one of the ones effected and can't make that small 4 hour window. Who knows if it will happen again too? Would 20% 12 AM Fri - 11:59PM Sun be better?
