Pet info AF sheild delv

I got champion AF buff with 25% to buffs which over rights my cabby pet self AF BUFF.
So i presume its more powerful.
But when i do pet info the AF of the pet does not change .
Can a dev let me know if the AF champ buff with 25% buffs is infact increaseing my cabby pet AF or not.
Am i wasteing my time with this AF buff.
