i just checked some mobs i know from live (or earlier retail patches) and some of those, usually used as pets for mentalists or sorcerers, are missing their spells and abilites:

Amadan Touched:
used to proc a disease in melee. (mainly in Cruachan Gorge near the relic town Crair Treflan)

Snow Shoe Bandit Mage:
used to cast fire bolts and an occasional ice nuke (Midgard OG/JM)

cockatrice:
used to stun occasionally, as any other variant (mainly Pennine in Alb)

Stromkarl: used to proc ranged mez/stun (near Hlidskialf Faste)

i tested each mob for like 50 hits on a dummy only though.

It is the aged arboreal cockatrice that has the stun.
The remaining 3 will be resolved by next patch.
