Siege on Boats

Trebuchets used on boats are not inflicting siege damage and kick user off every time they are used.
There is no combat log notification, and there is no statement regarding being removed from the boat. I'm not sure what other evidence i can provide. You aim the treb at a keep/tower, arm it, fire, the rock flies through the air, but you are kicked off the boat and no damage is inflicted.
