King's shield persisting without weapon

Hi Team,
King's Shield 5% melee resist buff is currently persisting without the cl10/dragon weapon or shield equipped.
Tested using Hallowed Spell Ward from dragon questline weapon reward. Equip the shield then remove and King's shield 5% resist remains. See weapons unequipped below with King's Shield remaining.
There were ways to bug/exploit this effect on live to produce a similar result for many years: 2h to 1h weapon swaps to keep kings shield. So in a regard it is somewhat authentic. But probably not an intended feature here, I would imagine.
