Old Archery: Ranged to Melee Delay

The old archery system recently received the following nerf/bug fix:

"Fixed a bug that allowed melee swing without delay after firing a ranged weapon. Note that this only impacts the old ranged attack system, and not new archery."

This leaves old archery feeling noticeably worse from a usability/fun standpoint. As an xbow arms, I'm now losing a full melee swing if a point blank shot is fired, and I'm usually better off canceling it for a melee style to avoid the new delay. Regarding balance, there was already a substantial tradeoff to letting the crossbow fire at melee range - it meant taking a hit with no opportunity to block or parry.

I would ask the devs to revert this bug fix and incorporate it as a feature to bring old archery on par with new archery again, as some players prefer the old draw/fire, and we already endure a severe range disadvantage. The absence of a delay also meant a seamless, smooth transition from xbow to melee - now it is quite awkward, functioning more like an interruptible slam that doesn't CC.
