Character being locked out when mezzing

Attempting to mezz a mob while playing a minstrel using the song "Coercing Cadence", if the mob becomes charmed while you are playing the song then you become locked out and are unable to play any other song and your combat log is spammed with "You can't attack a member of your realm" and then when you try to play another song it says "You are already beginning a song" until you take damage to interrupt the lock out.
