Re: Balance issue - VW style root
Heretics also have this sort of stupid mechanic. Not a complete root but infinite snare with no immunity.
Just add it to the list of gimmicks that plague balance here

Re: Follow up style less likely to hit
Doesn't this change a little bit though because the 2nd style relies on the first style to hit? Assuming flat 50% PD chance for each attack, wouldn't that then make each swing a coin toss? To hit the reactionary you need to land heads on both coin flips consecutively, and the probability of that is...

Re: Both Reset
Their fix is lets give you 4 hours of said bonuses. Some of us were on raids, we were on relic takes, we were farming. We were screwed out of way more than exp/rps. your fix is to make a 4 hour block of time for a lame bonus payback. Some of us have to work, that's why we play on different schedule...

Re: quality of life quest and raids
I do not like this idea much. Teleports make the game world feel small, and leave vast portions of it dead forever. Why not just make every quest an instance then? I think there' needs to be more engaging things to do in between towns to make the journey there more interesting, like a chance maybe b...

Re: 5man porter / 5man living frontier zone
Yes I also would like to see these zones sometimes appear in separate realms. Not necessarily 100% of the time, but its nice to have some variety other than everybody zerg around Albion for 45 minutes...

Re: Balance issue - VW style root
That doesn't sound at all exploitable...
It probably should have an immunity timer.

Re: Both Reset
It's certainly the elephant rolling around the room lately... edit and a few days later it's still rolling around on everybody's mind. Most of us are rather middle aged people with at least a rudimentary level skill in technology. A lot of us know tech pretty well and would feel better knowing it's ...

Re: Follow up style less likely to hit
This is very interesting. Not a stats/math expert here but curious: If both attacks have an equal chance of landing against somebody who has 50% parry rate, wouldn't we expect to see the follow up miss more often because the first one hit already and there's a 50% chance its going to get parried? I ...
