Switching from Live, how to transfer UI and settings?

Hi!
Transferring from live here, it's just too dead and some of my RL friends I used to play with are on here now apparently. However, I'm VERY anal about my UI setup and was wondering if there was a way to copy my window placement settings from my live folder to my Eden folder. I've done it many times when creating a new character and that method doesn't seem to work (copying the DAT and config files, changing the names/numbers...). I've done it on other free shards in the past fine too.
Any help would be appreciated, looking forward to DAoC with actual PEOPLE to play with!
