Eden-DAoC

I have a dropped scythe (sturdy demonic mooncrested war scythe) that i cannot make a pattern with. I tried removing any pattern on it, as the merchant said he can only operate on original and non modded items, but all that did was put me out 200g. Please fix!

Up to it, the same thing happened to me with few high-lvl drops (Cloth/metal armors and weapons from lvl 51-60 drakulv in Malmous). They have their own skin (dragon-kind), no reason why I can't use them to put that skin on something different, but the ugly guy only tells me the same "can only operate on non modified items". Who modified them? they are all dropped lol
