From what I understand it takes a stone or something to customize the looks of your character. I can understand this for race changes or alterations that ordinarily wouldn't be available, since these are extra, bonus features.
But. Making a character and then later saying, "ya know I wish this character smiled more, or had brown hair" and not being able to fix that without deleting the character or dealing with it for a long while, is silly.
Same with fixing stats on the same page. I want to try a new class out, do a bit of googling to see what people say are good starting stats, then just go with something and think "ah I can update this easily later if needed" only to find out that isn't true.
This server has a bunch of conveniences that I love, this is the only area I have encountered thus far where I have been annoyed because something I assume should be freely available (and by past experience expect it to be available), only to find out it is not is big negative feelings.
