HERETIC LUSTER NOT TAKING

So i have a Dark Acolyte's Wrath that i've now placed a CL5 skin on for the appearance and have tried in 500g worth of luster's to get any type of dye to take to it with no success. Idk if thats the way it was intended or not but all the other CL weapons are able to dye so i'm assuming its a bug. If this could possibly but fixed for Heretic's i'm sure we would all appreciate it dearly. and if its just a 'ME' thing. How do i go about fixing it ?

Hi, I have tried to apply luster to 2 different flex weapons; it consumed the luster but had no effect. first was Dark Knight's Fury, skinned with the slash flex pattern from Midgard. I figured maybe that was the issue, so I tried again on the epic Reaver Dextera Flail, but no effect. other players say they are able to - is there something i'm missing? thank you!
