Random Lag Spikes IN game only

Dear Support,

I'm having random lagspikes only in daoc the last 2 days.
When i open a ping to google - everything stays fine - also my discord no problem.
Is there anything known about this? I didn't have this before but now sometimes the screen freezes 1 sec.
In the last 5 years I never had this problem, playing on the same computer.

- I have tried reinstalling daoc + eden launcher
- Resetted my modem
- Ipconfig /release & renew
- changed DNS to google instead of automatic, but none of these steps provided a solution?
- ping to google while having the lagspike in daoc, no problems on the ping, only in daoc...

Any solution for this?

You've only been checking whether your own connection to servers very close to you is fine.

You have to check whether your connection on the route to this specific server is fine.
The IP to the Eden DAoC server is: game.eden-daoc.net

When you have problems, you will find that a node on the way from you to our server is causing problems. Changing your DNS was a good try, but often only a VPN can help. I have the same problem with my connection to some other MMOs.
