Caster GT's

Just started playing my animist after 6 months or so layoff.. I dropped a GT onto the lower window to defend a ram like I do with my eldy and I get the message.."You cant see your target" OR.. To cant place a shroom here " ... SOoooo I can do it with my Eld but NOT with my animist? This is irrational programming. Does it make ANY sense at all?
