Screen froze after selecting realm

Have been playing on Eden for the first 2 days.
After which, no idea what happened or went wrong.
Unable to get past the realm selection page, whichever realm i clicked, it just stays there (screen froze).

I have tried the following but to no avail.

1. Uninstalled all other shards folders
2. Reinstalling afresh, multiple times
3. Repatch client and then launcher
4. Checking exclusions

After all the above, I thought something might be wrong with my network.
Redownloaded other shard and was able to log in.

Please assist, greatly appreciated
