Cant use Connla leather(lvl 29)

Hi,
i just wanted to be up to date so i decided to buy Connla leather armor for the new BG which is introduced.

My nightshade can not wear the armor : it gives a message that i have no skill in wearing that armour type

i dont dare to buy the weapons but it looks like the same problem

What level is your character?

My character is 25 and i saw ppl responding now on Discord but i still dont get it

- Since when couldnt u use gear 4 levels above your level?
- why was i able to do it till now? i used lvl 10 gear at lvl 5
- Why restriction for weapon and armor? jewelry seems to work

if its a change and intended i didnt see any announcement nor do i get the logic

i do get that level gear from kills in rvr but when i try to buy the stuff im missing from quartermaster i cant equip it, i dont get the logics

the gear has a level req of 29 you canot equip it if you are not 29 you will get the no skill error

I agree, I went to buy it at 25 as well, States I need to be 29. at least lower it to level 25 please
