I just ran Iarnvidur's Lair with my healer Gibbons and got a CL Token as a reward.
I was trying to put it on my quick bar, but missed. The 'Do you really want to drop this item?' window came up, and I said 'no'. And then the token just disappeared. It's not in my bags, or on the quick bar, or in either vault. Not anywhere on the ground that I can see. It just vanished.
I would love to get a replacement, but beyond that, the behavior is just strange -- I've never seen an item just disappear before.
Edit: This resolved. Once I logged out and back in, I had received credit for using the token. Before logging out, no credit had been received, and no levelling animation played at any time. So nothing was lost, but the mechanics of it all was very strange, and dare I say buggy. Unlikely that you will be able to fix it though, or even recreate it. Very strange.
