Eden DAoC Quick Guide: Cleric (Albion)

Role Overview :
The Cleric is Albion's primary healer and buffer. In group RvR, you’re the lifeline of your team—healing, curing, buffing, and sometimes interrupting or even smiting enemies.

Spec Lines // Clerics have 3 main specializations:

1. Enhancement (Buffs)
Gives access to powerful baseline and spec buffs. Important for group support. At 40+ spec, you unlock top-tier AF and stat buffs.

2. Rejuvenation (Healing) Improves your healing spells: more HP restored and better efficiency. 30+ spec is common for strong spread heals and single target heals.

3. Smite (Offensive Spells) Direct damage line with nukes, stuns, and interrupts. Viable for solo play or niche hybrid builds (not commonly used in serious group RvR).

Typical Specs Group Healer Build
40 Enh / 35 Rej – Strong buffs and excellent healing. High utility, best for RvR and PvE.
Main Healer Build 30 Enh / 40 Rej – Focuses more on healing, but still solid buffs.
Smite Build (Solo / Fun) 24 Rej / 24 Enh / 44 Smite – Not optimal for groups but fun in solo PvP.

Stuns + nukes can surprise unsuspecting enemies.

RA (Realm Abilities) Suggestions
Must-Have:
Purge – Break out of CC (at least Purge 1).
MCL (Mystic Crystal Lore) – Regain power in long fights.
Serenity – Improves power regen.
Wild Healing – Boosts your critical heals.

Optional:
Di (Divine Intervention) – Passive group heals when things go south.
BAoC (Battle Aug of Courage) – Buff enhancement for group play.

Tips for Playing Cleric
Pre-buff your group before every fight – Concentration buffs like Dex/Qui, AF, and base buffs are essential.
Stay back and use Line of Sight wisely – You’re the #1 target in RvR.
Use spread heals in RvR – Hits all nearby groupmates; requires line of sight.
Use single target heals in PvE – Spread heals are inefficient outside RvR.
Cure Disease/Poison as needed – Especially in PvE or versus certain enemy classes.

Cleric in Group RvR
Most groups run 2 Clerics: one focuses on heals, the other on buffs and secondary heals.
Team up with Sorc (for CC) and Paladin (endurance chant).
You’re not here to DPS—keep your group alive and they’ll protect you in return.

Final Thoughts
Clerics are critical to Albion’s success in both PvE and RvR.
The learning curve is in positioning, timing, and awareness—but mastery makes you incredibly valuable.

You'll always find a group if you play Cleric well.
