Announcing 5v5 PvP Community Ran Tournament

There will be 5v5 PvP Group Tournament taking place at [Timestamp] on our PTR Test Server

This is a community ran tournament that we will be helping support. Below are the rules from the community organizer Drah

Format
There will be two phases;

Phase one is a rapid fire mode for two hours
Phase two is a seeded bracket playoff consisting of ~25% of the top teams (either 4, 6, or 8 max based on number of participants)

Rapid Fire

This is an automated tournament mode where teams will try to accumulate the most wins as possible.
Teams will be matched randomly as soon as a new match is available with an opponent
Each win will count as a point. So if your team plays a set of matches and wins 2 and loses 1, you will receive 2 points.
Team with the most points at the end of duration win

When the timer starts for the Rapid Fire section - AFKs, LDs or other related breaks will not stop the timer. It is up to the team how many fights they get in the span of the rapid fire.

There will be a 20 minute break in between the phases where teams are allowed to change team compositions. This will be the only change allowed.

This tournament is played in teams of five with PvP rules, which enables cross realm compositions.

Rules

All toons must register as RR8 (default on PTR) and CL10. Any toons in a team above RR8 will automatically disqualify the team.
No duplicate classes are allowed in the groups.
Tournament is played on the PTR, and "cap rings" are allowed to be used in templates.
Changing of teams comps during the rapid fire WILL reset your score

We urge groups to use their own voice channels for the rapid fire phase. For the playoffs the teams that qualify will have their own channel setup in the tournament discord, we ask all teams to please use these channels during this phase. This is to ensure efficient communications.

Please do take into consideration that this is a new format for a tournament setting with automated mechanics. There could be unforeseen problems, so we would appreciate everyone to handle issues with patience and sportsmanship. In doubt we will try to apply "common sense" in difficult scenarios.

Note these rules may change between now and the event. Community organizers will be sure to disclose full rules before the event start but we may need to make changes between now and then.

Also there is no signup required. Players will be able to simply login to PTR, zone to the Colosseum (by talking to the EV Teleporter in Relic Town), form their group, and talk to the Tournament Registrar NPC. Once your group is registered, matches will begin automatically.
