medal clip: I have just done the same on my bard, casted sos, cured disease -> sos break
only difference is that bard is also the sos caster but that shouldn't be a difference to my knowledge. I'm not sure what is working as intended of those 2 scenarios so just sharing the information here

The difference is not the caster, but the spell being pulsing cure disease and not cure disease. Resolved by next patch.
