Himneskr is recruiting for Season 2
For Season 2 I will be running a new guild "Himneskr". I will be focusing on developing a community that is new player friendly. There are no requirements to join. My goal for season 2 is to run regular PvE raids as well as running with the Malaka Inc BG and overall making Midgard a friendlier place ...

Re: Paladin specs
2 chants active at any 1 time so you still have to twist if you want to be as useful as possible.Juther83 wrote: Mon Aug 29, 2022 11:38 am Hi there,

Does Pally chants need to be twisted or they all just stand active upon first activation?

Character being locked out when mezzing
Attempting to mezz a mob while playing a minstrel using the song "Coercing Cadence", if the mob becomes charmed while you are playing the song then you become locked out and are unable to play any other song and your combat log is spammed with "You can't attack a member of your realm" and then when ...

Re: Paladin specs
Any suggestions for a good PvE Spec?
If your goal is to purely PvE in a group then your spec would be:
44 Slash
50 Shield
24 Parry
50 Chants
This gives you the followup for the slash taunt style and the rest is self explanatory.
If you are soloing and grinding mobs then I would use:
39 Slash ...

Re: Necro in RVR?
The big question on my mind when considering a Necro would be, will PW AoE DoT ticks interrupt casters? :eyes:
Also, seeing as the meta will probably favour heavily towards melee then a sight necro melee assist train will be no joke.

Re: Paladin specs
As mentioned, Thrust is just superior as a damage type due to the resistant table so I am a heavy advocate for any melee to use Thrust to be honest. With the assumption that you are going to be playing in an RvR setting for the majority of your play-time I would personally go:
39 Thrust
39 Two ...

Re: Friars in 8v8?
Friars do get a nice little tool kit at this patch level and looking at the character builder, any Friar that is worth their salt will probably run a tri-spec leaning more towards Enhance and then splitting staff/rejuv evenly. They will never replace a cleric but they certainly will make a nice ...
