Paladin specs

I started my Pally for a PvE toon, spec 50 slash, 42 shield, 46 chant, 16 parry. There is a big difference per swing in 1H vs 2H damage in PvP, so I repsec. Now Im running 39 2H, 33 thrust, 42 shield, 46chant, 16 parry. Dragon vendor sells a 6.0 thrust or crush (no 6.0 slash) 2 hand. With my templet, buff bot haste and my celerity I'm at 1.6-ish swing speed. Friar or a haste pot to self buff and Im at 1.5 2h swing speed.

If i want RVR i should go to Thrust and must i go Saracen too?

Am i missing something ? Because i cannot reproduce the 44 Slash spec in the charplan.

Any suggestions for a good PvE Spec?

If your goal is to purely PvE in a group then your spec would be:
44 Slash
50 Shield
24 Parry
50 Chants

This gives you the followup for the slash taunt style and the rest is self explanatory.

maybe a lot of stuff has changed since 2008.

My pally spec at the time was:
39 slash
42 shield
48 chants
15 parry

It was a good spec for both solo and team rvr. Is it something I'm missing? I see a lot of specs at 2H (and not with slash).

Can you help me to understand more? Then if you have also suggestion fot RA abilities would be nice
