Slow mode on the Discord

I just downloaded DAOC and joined the Discord. I asked one question in the Questions and Answers channel and now I can't post any more comments for 1 hour until the Slowmode timer expires. I've never seen a restriction like that on a Discord server before. How do you get the ability to post freely with no restrictions?

Unfortunately, you can't. It is strange for that channel for sure.
