Greetings everyone, I will be hosting a 5v5 event this Sunday on 23rd of February, starting at 8pm CET, and right off the bat, we will due a small change to our event setting, to make it more "tournament-like". This is the first time we will attempt an event like this, but it should work out fine. If you are familiar with the Starcraft 2 scene, you will find this tournament setting quite familiar.

The event structure will be like this:
- In case we have 8 groups turn up, we will create group A and group B. Each group will consist of 4 groups who will battle it with each other in the rounds of "Best of 3". Namely, whichever group gets to 2 wins first wins that game.
- All groups will fight all other groups from their group, and the two groups who finish first and second will proceed onto the next tournament stage, in which they will fight one of the two groups from the other group. Basically, like UEFA Champions League.
- There will be no losers bracket.
- The group progress and the Semi-Finals and Finals will be displayed on our website and possibly in-game through a chart.
- All games are Best of 3, Finals are Best of 5 (whoever gets to 3 wins first, wins).
- There will be no cooldown reset after fights and as soon as the fight is over, you will be forced to fight again. So, dumping all cooldowns should not be an issue in fights.

- In case we have less than 8 groups, we will create a Tournament setting without groups and it will be a single elimination bracket. Where a group fights another group in a Best of 3 and the winner moves on to Semi-Finals. In case of 6, or unequal amount of groups, we will implement a Losers bracket where the losers of their game can work their way through the Losers bracket (you will be playing against groups that have lost their match) and can get back into the Winner bracket, or Winners of the Winner bracket will play against Winners of the Loser bracket as finals, that is yet to be seen, it all comes down on how many groups will turn up.

The rules are same for every event:
- Standard GvG rules apply, if you are unfamiliar with these rules, you can read them here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=155
- No xrealm groups allowed.
- All classes are allowed.

The awards are the following:
- 1st place: 100k BPs, Free RP transfer coin, 5v5 Winner title, 500 gold
- 2nd place: 50k BPs, 250 gold
- 3rd place: 25k BPs, 100 gold
- All other participants will receive 10k BPs.
- The awards will be handed at the end of the event.
