Epic quest reset after I picked up Mind Control Orb

Albion 47 Cabalist named Rubys . I picked up the mind control orb and my quest journal said to return to Meb. I ported to Gwyntel and then Diogel and spoke to Meb and he sent me back to kill Ogre Threshers/Guardsman. I am now stuck repeating the quest line. Is there anything that can be done? It's very time-consuming to try to kill Ronat and do the mind control orb and I'd love not to redo that.

Unfortunately this quest was globally reset due to an error in the quest that needed to be fixed (which resets all quest credit). We are very sorry for the progress lost, we understand this is a very difficult and time consuming epic quest.
