I bought the Greater Speed of the Hunt gem and the first time I clicked on it, I took off running (being used to doing this on my Mins and my Skald). The sound started and then stopped, and I did not have speed. Trying again, it became clear that you have to stand still for the entire 5 second casting time. I am not complaining about the cast time. The problem is that the aborted attempt used up a charge !!! This should not be. A charge should not be used unless the speed spell is successfully cast.
I filed this as a bug report, which imo it is, but Karen locked it and said it was a suggestion, not a bug. So I went to the Suggestions Forum, and found that forum had been locked months ago. Why in the world is it still locked ? So I am filing it here. Please do not give me some more boilerplate. This is wrong and very anti-QoL. Please fix it !!!
Thank you.

How long does something have to languish here w/o any action or comment ?
