Hello,
if you shoot both shots at a target (acid shot and poison shot) the one dot overrides the other.
The one is body damage and the other is matter damage so they should stack like the other dots from caster with different magic types.
In this case the second shot/dot cancels the first dot.
No screenshot needed you can simply test this on a dummy. After using both shots you should see 8 ticks in the combat log.
But there are only 5-6 ticks depending on how fast you fire the second after the first shot. Tested with poison shot 8 and acid shot 8.
I dont think this behaviour is intended or it would be contrary to the other known dots.

You see only 2 poison ticks because after the acid shot hits they are canceled. Instead of 4 poison ticks and 4 acid ticks there are only 6 ticks (2 poison plus 4 acid) combined which is wrong or an unusual behavior for dots.

For example bonedancer dots ... if both dots from the bone army line (base and spec) are casted on a mob they dont overwrite themself. They both run their full duration and number of ticks. Why is it different with the archer dots?
The archer dots are not even they same damage type (matter and body). So it makes even less sense that they are canceling each other out.
I have no source or prove how it was on live.

Do a live test, or find grab bag, patch note or similar documentation to support your claim.

You can take this for what its worth, but this video at 0:48 shows the exact moment acid/poison tick together, on poisons last tick + acids first tick.
