You likely didn't unselect the other reward first. First click locks it. If you want to select a different one, you have to unlock it first by clicking the same one again.

The quest is repeatable. Just do it again and pick a different one.

Install DAoC a second time into a different folder, and only use one folder for Eden, the other for official.

There is a file that stores your settings in the same folder that stores your .ini files for each character, in %appdata%. Delete it and it will reset all settings to default

You're either misunderstanding something or doing something wrong. Your resists change between pictures, too, and that weapon does not have any resists attached.
