You do not. Just go up to top left corner of whole screen, hold in right mouse button and drag.

When you trade coin, it doubles what you are putting in. For example: I want to hand a player 1 plat for an item, it adds 2 plat. Or 10 Gold, it adds 20 gold. This is happening 100% of the time.
